Samuel Davis, Jr. is the new General Manager and CEO of LANGD.

He is a native of Louisiana and a graduate of Southern University in Baton Rouge, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.  He is a Professional Engineer licensed in Texas, and, has CPM designation from the Florida Center for Public Management at Florida State University. Mr. Davis has spent the past 22 years serving as General Manager of the City of Tallahassee’s Gas Utility Department and brings with him many years of engineering and natural gas utility experience.  

His professional affiliations include:  Florida Municipal Natural Gas Association, Florida Natural Gas Association, American Public Gas Association, Florida Society of Certified Public Managers and Southern Gas Association, among others.  He looks forward to employing his technical and managerial experience along with his leadership abilities to enhance delivery of service to the customers of LANGD.
